The Super Cool July Challenge for Scrapbookers and Card-Makers!
We have a very special weekly challenge running during the month of July that no one will want to miss.
Listed below are the weekly challenge assignments. Bring your completed challenge assignments to the store each week to be recorded. Don't worry, you can bring in more than one challenge at the time-the goal is to have all the challenge assignments completed and recorded at the store before July 31.
For each challenge that you complete and have recorded, your name will be entered into a drawing for a very nice prize pack (currently on display at the store) and a $5 gift certificate. There are two prize packs to be awarded-one for a Scrapbooker and one for a Card Maker.
You may enter both challenges.in fact, we hope you will!
As a special bonus, if you bring your challenge assignment in each week, you will be rewarded with an extra entry into the drawing, doubling your chances of being the winner!
The winners will be drawn on August 1st.

Week 1 (July 1-7)
Scrapbookers: a layout using 4 pictures and journaling
Card makers: 2 cards using ribbon and flowers

What's New?
The UPS deliveryman stops at our door almost every day with something new. This week we have received the Metropolis line from Scenic Route Paper, a beautiful new collection from My Mind's Eye, Basic Grey Infuse, and the Tim Holtz Ink Cases!
In late-July we will be attending CHA--a huge industry trade show in Chicago. What does this mean to you? It means we will be shopping for four days straight-looking for new and wonderful suprises to bring back to you! It also means we will be having some special sales to make room for all our new purchases!

Girls Night Out Crops!
There are 2 Friday Night Crops scheduled for July-the 6th and the 27th! Crops run from 5-10 PM and cost $5. Included is a light dinner and drinks! Reserve your spot early by calling the store because space is limited. On the 6th we will be serving finger-food snacks and on the 27th we will be ordering pizza.

MONTHLY HANDMADE CARD SWAP
How would you like to have great handmade cards each month to add to your collection or give to family and friends? If so, then our monthly card swap is just for you.
The theme for August is Miss You! Sign up by calling the store or emailing before August 1. On August 1, we will let you know how many cards to make, based on how many card makers are taking part. Then you will have until August 10th to bring your cards to the store! When all the cards have been received, we will let you know they are ready for pick-up.
Cards can be any size or shape and each one should be signed. If you make a small or odd-shaped card, please include an envelope as well.
When you purchase supplies to be used on your swap creations at the store, we will reward you with a 15% discount.
There's even talk of a special party for all our card swap participants coming up in the fall!
